Hauck Manufacturing Company has been serving the combustion needs of industry since 1888. The original products manufactured included blow torches, soldering irons, and lead melting furnaces used in many emerging industries. Hauck burners, torches and rivet furnaces were used in construction, locomotive manufacture, heat treating and more.

When incorporated in Brooklyn New York in 1907, Hauck was a major supplier of portable heating equipment for the construction industry. In the early 1920's, Hauck developed a line of industrial proportioning oil burners that gained a worldwide reputation. Hauck also manufactured a successful line of tar kettles used in the roofing industry. This business unit was sold 1961 and Hauck was relocated to its present location in Cleona, PA in 1963. Over the years, Hauck has gained a reputation for designing and manufacturing quality oil and gas fired industrial combustion systems. In 1988, Hauck became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ruhrgas AG, one of the largest natural gas energy companies in the world.

Hauck holds over 100 patents for industrial combustion technology and equipment dating back to the early 1900’s. The company currently holds about 25 active patents and continues to develop state-of-the–art combustion equipment and controls
